1000 £ Bend
1000 £ Bend is one of the most unique spaces in Melbourne, comprising a bustling cafe, a massive gallery and events space and an air conditioned cinema space. Founded in 2009 following the closure of the city’s iconic St Jerome’s laneway bar, the venue – which is located in what was formerly the Peter Stevens motorbike repair garage – has quickly cemented its place as a focal point of Melbourne’s creative community.
With free wi-fi, all day breakfast, tasty meals and and a wide range of drinks, it’s the perfect place to meet friends, get some work done or simply people watch.
Vanessa, Ray and I went there early this evening (to beat the crowd) for a cuppa before stocking up on groceries.
