Coffee Design Art – CAD Cafe
I did not join Benny and some of the participants who went earlier than the appointed time for our street photography session at Kampong Glam. They had breakfasted at Dong Po Colonial Cafe.

CAD means Coffee, Art & Design!
The founders with backgrounds in art and design have created a space that showcases various art and design works.

This table looked very similar to those at The Muzium Cafe, where I had lunch with Rick last year.
Incidentally, Muzium is a block away.

Everytime I tell my friends I do not own a TV set, they think it’s unbelievable at this time and age.
Well, we haven’t had that box in Melbourne and we do not watch TV programmes.
In my younger days though, my dad bought a TV just like the one in this photo and later upgrade to another B&W TV with shutters! I loved turning the dials when changing programmes 😀

One of the participants in today’s street photography event started clicking away as I sat on the pavement behind him.
I wasn’t sure if he was framing in the young man in his photo but I thought if he could get away with it, I will try my hand at it, too!
I’ll give a few minute’s grace and see if he gets scolded.

Everyone had a “model” for their street photography and sitting on the pavement across this guy, I took my chances at him when my mate did not get a scolding.
He didn’t seemed to mind or he didn’t even know. I’m not sure but he up and went into the cafe.
Shortly after, I followed suit.

Besides coffee and other beverages… Homestyle fare of breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and soups are sold here.

Oh ok, he wasn’t a customer!
Since I had gone out without my morning cuppa, I ordered a skinny latte from this young man and learnt that he’s the barista.
Mr. Fareed Noor making my “perk-me-up”.
I could tell how passionate he is about coffee as he intricately carved a coffee art on my cuppa 😀

I was very tempted to get a Danish but I knew we were going to have some later so I restrained myself.

I didn’t know that I was being shot while I took my shot at my cuppa! Photo courtesy of Emo ‘llezion Art

ME
There’s no better time than now. I would love to see you taking other photos too 😀 You are a big man, don’t be shy although I am also intimidated taking pictures of people. Start with objects or even animals. Enjoy the photography journey! 😀
🙂 Nice to know you’re still exploring
Hi Mitsuo san!!! Yes I just got “re-started” hahaha… Took a two month break from blogging and lots to catch up. Hope everything is fine on your side! 😀
Well, a lot went on. Can’t post what happened here but things are looking up.
☺
I’m sure things will be better. Keeping you in my prayers 🙂
